Orange Beach Alabama Real Estate

Orange Beach is a city on the Alabama Gulf Coast, bordering the Florida state line and Perdido Key. On the southern-most point, Orange Beach joins 32 miles of white sand coastline. To the north, the city faces Wolf Bay and Bay La Launch. Bayou Saint John cuts a slice into the middle of it all, making this one of the biggest water sports hubs on the Gulf. At some point, almost the entire city borders a body of water.

As you might expect, much of Orange Beach is used for vacation housing. Almost all of the Gulf side is condos and vacation homes, and many of the properties along the bays are the same. Home pricing can range from around $250,000 to multi-millions. There are residential homes, duplexes, motor coach homes, and cottages of every shape and size, on the water and inland.

If you want to live your life like you are on vacation, this is the place to do it. There are also more attractions here than we can even name, and many of the communities are close to one or more of them.

Orange Beach Condos

Condos in Orange Beach are as varied in price as they are in style and location. You can find a one bedroom or studio unit with an indirect water view for as little as $175,000, or the finest luxury penthouse with magnificent Gulf or Bay views for $3-4 million. The well-known Turquoise Place condos offer over 5,000 square-feet of inside living space and 8,000 square-feet on balconies overlooking the coast. When you think of "luxury" in Orange Beach, it rivals homes of celebrities and the rich and famous.

Orange Beach condominiums have properties that are Gulf-front, Bay-front and lagoon-front. Amenities such as lazy rivers, waterslides, hot tubs, indoor and outdoor pools, poolside snack bars, private gamerooms, and easy access to golf or tennis courts are the norm.

Orange Beach Attractions

The entertainment and attractions of this city are endless. Imagine having adventures like these available all the time.

The Orange Beach Aquatics Center has a 25-foot heated pool with a diving well, tube slide, kiddie pools, and more. Families can take swimming lessons, do water aerobics, or just enjoy the pools.

The Orange Beach Tennis Center boasts eight lighted hard courts that provide adult and junior USTA tournaments/leagues, monthly theme socials, ladies leagues, summer tennis camps for kids, private lessons, and a pro shop with equipment, apparel, and racquet repair.

The Orange Beach Art Center presents pictures and souvenirs created by local artists, for marveling over or purchase.

Adventure Island offers family fun with mini-golf courses, go-karts, bumper boats, arcades and more. It also has an "erupting volcano".

The Backcountry Trail is a huge walking trail shared by Orange Beach and the Gulf State Park. Many parts of it were used by the original Native Americans as well as early settlers of this region. It is said that a half-man/half wildcat creature known as "the Catman" hides in the swamps and woodlands along the trails.

Gulf Bay Adventures offers guided kayak tours, sailboat tours, shrimping excursions, and dolphin-sighting experiences like no others.
