Perdido Key Coves Homes

Perdido Key Coves is a mixed community of single-family homes and condos, located directly on Old River and some of its canals. Depending on the home's location, residents may hav views of the Gulf of Mexico, Ono Island, or Perdido Key State Park. The community was originally developed around 1985, yet there are homes built as recently as the mid 2000's.

Most of the homes have private boat slips, and come with a deeded access to the Gulf. A reasonable HOA fee covers tennis and pickleball courts. With all the choices of water play, the homes in the Coves make excellent rental properties as well as a wonderful place to live, although it is rent restricted to 6 months of more. You'll also find the occasional lot for sale.

These are true luxury homes, and most are large, 5 bedrooms or more, in the pastel colored 2 and 3-story beach house style. The ones directly on the river are magnificent, with amazing views of the pier and water. Some open to the channels, and offer views of palm trees, flowering shrubs, and colorful boating toys. Many have private pools as well.
