The Preserve is a large new subdivision of 261 homes near East Milton, just off South Airport Rd and Beneva Rd, near Hwy 90. This sprawling community involved multiple builders, including the D R Horton and Whitworth Builders. Styles and options will differ according to the builders. Prices range from around $400,000 to $600,000 with Horton being the most affordable, offering 3 bedrooms for around $330,000. Most of the homes are at least 4 bedrooms, and a few 5 bedrooms with prices ranging from $350,000 to just under $600,000. Square footage ranges from 1803 to 3200 sq ft.
Inside, the homes will offer different upgrades depending on the builder, but almost all will include stone countertops, designer kitchens with Energy Star appliances, (HVAC as well) vaulted ceilings, walk-in closets, recessed lighting, and more. Whitworth offered 3-car garages, while Horton homes have 2. Horton has the popular "Smart Home" technology. Several homeowners have installed solar panels, and many have private pools. Almost all are a combination of siding and brick. Homes all have half-acre lots with plenty of room for a private pool in the back.
The Preserve is large and continues to grow. There should be properties there to fit almost any budget, whether it's a new home or one of the older and smaller homes. An occasional lot is even available. Its great location in the East Milton area near I-90 provides easy access to the military bases, Pensacola, and the attractions of downtown Milton.
