Milton is a historic town located along Blackwater River, and is surrounded by creeks, making it like the nearby town of Pace, both claiming to be the Canoe Capital of Florida. Either way, those who love water sports will love Milton. The city is not far from Eglin AFB, and has a lively downtown district.

Nichols Creek - This is a beautiful brick new home neighborhood being built by Thomas Homes. Whisper Creek - Whisper Creek is a peaceful community with wooded lots between Milton and Pace. Plantation Woods - Affordable new homes in a quiet neighborhood being developed by Timberland Contractors. Boats or campers are allowed on the property if behind a fence. Homes have the upgrades like granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Near East Milton Park, and downtown Milton at the riverfront. Three and four-bedroom homes from 1,661 to 3,292 sq ft. Prices from $189,000 to $300,000.
