The Scenic Hills Country Club golf course and subdivision are located between 9-Mile Rd and Greenbriar Road; near the University of West Florida. The University purchased the golf course several years ago, and continues to maintain it. The course is open to the public and also offers memberships with unlimited play and other perks. It is a Jerry Pate Championship course with manicured rolling greens, and was voted "Best Golf Course in Pensacola" three times.

The subdivision of Scenic Hills Country Club consists of beautiful executive homes scattered around the course, originally built in the 1960's, with phases in the 80's and 90's.
