The Scenic Hills Country Club golf course and subdivision are located between 9-Mile Rd and Greenbriar Road; near the University of West Florida. The University purchased the golf course several years ago, and continues to maintain it. The course is open to the public and also offers memberships with unlimited play and other perks. It is a Jerry Pate Championship course with manicured rolling greens, and was voted "Best Golf Course in Pensacola" three times.
The subdivision of Scenic Hills Country Club consists of beautiful executive homes scattered around the course, originally built in the 1960's, with phases in the 80's and 90's. Most are custom-built on lots with mature live oak trees and blooming shrubbery. You'll find homes averaging the mid $200,000's in price, as well as more expensive luxury homes in sections such as "The Highlands" with prices list from $450,000 to $500,000.
Most homes here are elegant estates with every upgrade from granite countertops and glass showers to lavish pools and outdoor entertainment areas. The lots are much larger than average and offer views of the rolling greens that are simply breathtaking. Four, five, and even six-bedroom homes can be found all through the community. This is truly a wonderful place to live, and most tend to stay for many years. You will find pride of ownership throughout Scenic Hills.
Extending across Greenbrier Blvd, Tam O'Shanter Rd enters an expanded section called Scenic Hills North. This section is quiet and not on the course itself, but offers impressive homes priced in the mid $300,000's and above. There are several similar communities located on the outskirts of the Country Club. The nearest is Fox Run, less than a mile away with luxury homes up to about $400,000. A bit further west but still nearby is Quail Run, which features some of the most affordable yet beautiful homes in the area. Both developments offer tree-lined streets with sidewalks and manicured yards.
Another popular area on the border of the Scenic Hills is Woodlands. This small section seldom has a home listed, but when it does, it is snapped up quickly. Built in the 90's, homes here often have elegant outdoor entertainment areas, indoor pools, and heavily wooded lots. Prices average in the $300,000's.
Ashley Place and Aurelias Place are between Fox Run and Quail Run, and offer newer ranch-style homes with smaller lots, two-car garages, and quiet streets. Aurelias Place, in particular, has many new construction homes.
Whether you want a home directly on the greens or a few blocks away, the homes in Scenic Hills Country Club and its borders come in all price ranges, styles, and ages. Browse the homes below, search the MLS, or call and let us do the looking for you.
