The Sand Dollar is another popular complex located on the Little Sabine Bay in Pensacola Beach, with the Bay on one side and the Gulf and beach on the other. The Sand Dollar was originally built in 1979, and like others, was renovated completely in 2006 after Hurricane Ivan. The units have all the upgrades that rose to popularity with the condo boom, such as granite countertops, vaulted ceilings, walk-in closets, and most importantly; impact-resistant windows and doors. The HOA fees are reasonable, and cover cable, water, pest control, landscaping, insurance, and management. Most of these condos are used for vacation rentals, and have many good reviews. Both floorplans include a private balcony to relax and enjoy the beach breezes.
The buildings are built staggered, offering views of the Bay, as well as having the Gulf Coast beach a short walk across the street. Shopping, dining, and entertainment on the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk are within walking or biking distance, and the Fort Pickens State Park is just a short drive down the boulevard to the west. The condos are deeded with an assigned covered parking spot for even more convenience. Enjoy the Sabine Bay with jet skis, paddle boats or kayaks, or spend your days on the beach.
