The Santa Rosa Dunes is a 13-acre condominium resort is in Pensacola Beach on Fort Pickens Rd, with the sound on one side, and the Gulf Coast just a short walk across the street on the other side. (The 18-story Santa Rosa Tower faces the Gulf and uses the same entrance as the Dunes, but is not a part of this community.)
The Dunes complex is made up of 107 units, divided between two towers built in 1984, and eight buildings of townhome-style condos built in 1981. The towers offer 24 one-bedroom / 833 sq ft units, and 24 two-bedroom/ 1185 sq ft units. These 7 story towers often have views of both the Gulf and the Santa Rosa Sound from the upper floors. The towers have an elevator, as well.
The 8 townhome buildings are three-story, face the Sound, and several are directly on the beach. 38 of these are two-bedroom condos with 1215 sq ft of space, while 13 have three bedrooms and are 1463 sq ft. 8 more of the three-bedroom units have an extra bathroom, with 1495 sq ft.
Prices for the Santa Rosa Dunes condos are quite varied. The one-bedroom tower condos range from $250-$300,000. Both kinds of two-bedroom units are in the high $300,000's. Three-bedroom condos start in the $400,000's and increase according to the size and proximity to the water.
