Tangen Heights is located just off Mobile Highway between Klondike Rd and 8-Mile Creek Rd. This area is well known for being the "Pensacola Growers Section", a road with farm after farm, selling everything from vegetables to meat and dairy products. If you dream of living in the country, this is as close as you can get and still have a nice neighborhood convenient to everything Pensacola has to offer.

Houses here consist of everything from $100k fixer-uppers to $300,000 new construction luxury homes. Some are as old as the 50's and others as recent as 2022. The average home is a three-bedroom with around 1300 sq ft, but the newest ones can go up to 1500 sq ft. Lots can be several acres or the standard 1/4-1/2 acre sizes. You'll find some pool homes and lots of farmland. There's no HOA to be worried about, either. Escambia County donated a small playground and park for the area children as well.

Schools in the area include Longleaf Elementary, Bellview Middle School, and the highly desirable Pine Forest High School. Nearby attractions include Fast Eddie's Amusement Park, Splash City, and the Pensacola Fairgrounds.  It is convenient to I-10, Navy Federal Credit Union, the new Publix and Walmart, restaurants, and hospitals. The beach and Downtown Pensacola are only about 15 miles away.
